Acne Scar |
Imagine a young man whiling away his time by unconsciously pricking the little red bumps on his face. The more pimples he burst, the more persistent he gets.
Eventually, acne scars will take its rightful place on that used-to-be-blemish-free complexion and the young man soon ends up putting the blame on acne.
The follicle wherein the zit was developed is like a bag-like structure that will naturally burst to drain away its contents. This natural process does not result in disfigurement
as it occurred only on the skin's first layer.
The act of squeezing out acne, blackheads and whiteheads reaches up to the second layer of the skin where connective tissues
can be found thus, the skin gets pockmarked in the process.
Go easy on spots appearing rapidly, they may be just simple rashes, scratching them will leave you marked too. People, whose faces were blemished with acne scars, tend to shy away from others. Some teenagers experience a sense of distress that can cause serious
emotional problems. |
|
A feeling of being unwanted or overlooked both within the family and social circles leads to isolation. Rather than face the problem and find a solution,
these young people remain withdrawn and morose. |
|
On the lighter side however, some women give a good fight by putting on tons of make-up to hide whatever blotch or
scratch there may be on their faces.
Regrettably this isn't the answer as make-up can only worsen acne conditions. We get a daily dose of foreign bodies that clog our
pores, adding on hard-to-remove make-up will only serve as another material for bacteria to breed.
A clean face, a glowing smile and a cheerful countenance can always
make-up seem useless. Acne scars doesn't have to remain untreated since there are a number of ways to get rid of skin imperfections.
If one doesn't have enough on his budget, an herbal
plant called "Aloe Vera" was tested to have aided in the reduction in appearance of scars related to skin disorders.
Others resort to the use of astringents
and skin whitening solutions, which tone down the color of the scars. The more expensive way is to have it removed by a dermatologist via acne surgery. |
"Microdermabrasion" is a sophisticated way of removing the upper layer of the skin by refining the irregularities on the surface area and allows the generation of
new skin cells.Simply avoiding factors that trigger breakouts make life easier; like observing proper diet with emphasis on fibers, Vitamin A and C to aid in
the body's natural processes To do away with all the woes and troubles caused by acne related scars, do away with the habit of picking on them first.
Everybody experiences the
occurrence of pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and what have you, but there's no real fun in pinching them. Stay on the safe side; let those bumps big or small,
disappear in its natural process.
Remember, the skin's first layer or epidermis does not get scarred; it is only on the second layer or on the dermis when you dig down deep
and scratch, that pockmarks are formed.
